Valid Business License

Active business registration in the state of California with all required local permits.

Insurance Coverage

General liability insurance at minimum. Workers' comp and professional liability as applicable to your trade.

Financial Stability

Ability to manage cash flow for 30-60 day payment terms. We work to pay vendors promptly, but planning matters.

Quality Standards

Commitment to delivering work that meets or exceeds project specifications. Safety compliance is non-negotiable.

No. While we actively support certified diverse businesses through our Supplier Diversity Program, our Small Business Supplier Program is open to all qualified small businesses regardless of certification status. We'll help you get certified if you qualify.

Q:What size projects can I bid on as a small business?

We have projects ranging from $10,000 subcontracts to multi-million dollar prime contracts. We'll help match you with opportunities that fit your current capacity and help you grow into larger projects over time.

Q:How long does the registration process take?

Initial registration takes about 15 minutes. Profile verification typically takes 3-5 business days. Once approved, you'll start receiving RFP notifications immediately.
